"... Studying in Ottawa was an amazing experience in many ways, it gave me
perspective on my degree in England and gave me a chance to live in a different
culture. I thought four months away from home would be a long time, but as soon
as I arrived there were so many events to be involved in and people to meet, I
felt at home in the city immediately. I found Canadian people so friendly and
relaxed, and constantly having new experiences gave me real energy for work and
travel. I made so many memories, from going to my friends’ ‘Canadian’ houses to
hearing ice skates scraping in Ice Hockey games, visiting Toronto and seeing the
Canadian wilderness in colourful autumn..."
