Outgoing Students
Studying Abroad is an opportunity to broaden your
experience and understanding of a different culture and language. Study abroad
increases your self-esteem and self-assurance, it will throw new light on your
subject, introduce a fresh perspective to your studies, and last, and by no
means least, it will improve your prospects for employment.
The International & Study Abroad Office works in
collaboration with academic departments within the University to establish links
with Universities in different cultures, a by product of this being that
University of Reading students gain the opportunity to live and study abroad.
The University has numerous exchange programmes with other
academic institutions throughout the world - in Europe, America, Asia and
Australasia - in a variety of academic disciplines, for both Undergraduate and
Postgraduate students.
We hope that these pages provide a useful insight to the range
of possibilities that exist. Should you decide to you wish to participate,
the International & Study Abroad Office will do their best to help
facilitate your period of study abroad.
