Research expenses
For some doctoral programmes, particularly in the sciences, you will be charged a supplementary fee to cover the costs of additional facilities and consumables. This is normally charged on an annual basis and will be detailed in your Offer of Admission letter.

Visiting researchers
The following fees are for a 12-month period of study. For shorter periods, the fee will be a pro-rata amount, based on the number of months you are at Reading.
