Corpus Facility
The Corpus
Facility comprises a large collection of speech and language corpora
housed on a networked workstation with a CD-ROM jukebox. The corpora
are supported by analysis
software which may be accessed remotely from a large number of networked
machines. In addition there are powerful multimedia PC workstations for
use with PC-based corpora and databases.
Multi-channel Data Aquisition
The lab's multi-channel data aquisition system
is able to sample from multiple data sources simultaneously direct to
disk from our sound treated room including the
acoustic signal,
EPG,
Laryngograph,
Nasal and Oral airflow and information about
lip or tongue movements using the
MoveTrack tracking system.
